Max Dawson a Vice President in PSB’s Los Angeles office, leading Reel Pulse™, the motion picture data analytics practice of PSB.
Before joining PSB, Max advised global TV networks and studios on program development, channel branding, social media, new technologies, and youth viewers. His former clients include ABC, AMC, A+E Networks (A&E, History, Lifetime), Discovery Communications (Animal Planet, Discovery Channel, OWN, TLC), Turner (TBS, TNT, Adult Swim, truTV), Spike, MTV, Reelz Channel, Hallmark Channel, Netflix, Sony Pictures Entertainment, Crackle, El Rey, Corus (Canada), Horizon Media, Viacom, and BET.
As a result of Max’s research he has had opportunities to be interviewed on topics ranging from reality TV stardom to Internet TV to summer blockbusters by USA Today, NPR, The Associated Press, The Chicago Tribune, The Christian Science Monitor, and other media outlets.
Previously, Max was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Radio, TV & Film at Northwestern University, where he wrote and taught on the American television industry.
