Senior Vice President & Global Head Financial Services
Susan Ochs serves as SVP and Global Head of the Financial Services Practice at PSB. She has more than two decades of experience across the financial sector – as both a practitioner and policymaker. Most recently, Ochs founded and led the Better Banking Project, where she conducted original research and delivered strategic insights to help firms work towards improved cultures and business practices. Her work has been featured by the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, the Milken Institute and SIFMA, among other organizations. Prior financial positions include senior roles in government at the U.S. Department of the Treasury and the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, as well as investment roles at J.P. Morgan Investment Management and private equity firm Solera Capital.
With deep experience in corporate strategy, Ochs has also served previously within WPP as Acting Director of Management for BrandAsset Consulting, a Young & Rubicam Brands company. In that role and in subsequent consulting engagements, she has advised clients – from Fortune 50 companies to startups – on market strategy, corporate social impact, stakeholder engagement, branding and messaging.
Ochs is a frequent speaker and commentator, appearing regularly on CNBC, MSNBC and Fox Business, and has been published in The New York Times and Harvard Business Review, among other venues. She holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA in Economics from Duke University.
